The Project

Overlooking the Snake River in Asotin, Washington, this beautiful hillside home was ready for a roofing upgrade.

The homeowner first noticed Elevated Roofing Partners while our crew was replacing a neighboring roof. Impressed by the quality of our workmanship and attention to detail, he reached out to discuss replacing his own aging roof.

The existing synthetic shake roofing had reached the end of its service life. Years of exposure had caused significant fading, staining, and moss growth, particularly in areas shaded by surrounding trees. The homeowner wanted a roofing system that would restore the home's appearance while providing lasting protection.

For this project, we installed Brava Cedar Shake roofing in Aged Cedar, combining the timeless appearance of natural cedar with the durability and low maintenance benefits of modern composite roofing.

Brava's composite tiles are molded from actual cedar shakes, capturing the natural wood grain, texture, and color variations of traditional cedar. Unlike natural wood, these tiles resist moisture absorption, rot, and damage from repeated freezing and thawing. They also offer a Class 4 impact resistance rating and can achieve a Class A fire rating when installed as part of an approved roofing system, making them an excellent choice for a property surrounded by trees.

But a quality roof involves more than what you see on the surface.

Our crew installed a Class A fire rated synthetic underlayment as part of the complete roofing system, following Brava's installation specifications. Proper installation is essential to long term performance and maintaining eligibility for the manufacturer's 50 year limited warranty, subject to its terms.

The finished roof complements the home's natural surroundings while providing the homeowner with a durable, beautiful roofing system designed to withstand the elements for decades to come.
