The Project
The homeowner saw us working on a neighbor's house and came over to talk. He was getting ready to sell and had been told the roof needed replacing before it could go on the market. End of its lifespan — you can see in the before photos where the shingles had faded out, and there was cracking at the ridges.
This was a November job, so temperature was a factor. We went with CertainTeed Climate Flex in Moire Black. Probably could have gotten away with regular Landmark, but Climate Flex is designed to seal in colder weather. Didn't want to cut corners just because someone was selling. The next homeowner deserves a roof that was installed right.
The difference is pretty obvious in the drone shots. Old roof was faded gray and tired-looking. The Moire Black against that green siding and the wood accents — it made the whole house look like a different property. Sort of the best thing you can do for curb appeal before putting a house on the market.
