Terms of Service
Effective April 20, 2026
These terms cover the relationship between you and Elevated Roofing Partners (ERP). We kept the language plain on purpose. If something isn't clear, call us at (208) 551-1359 and we'll talk through it.
Who We Are
Elevated Roofing Partners is a veteran-owned roofing contractor based in Hayden, Idaho. We are licensed in Idaho (#1671868) and Washington (#ELEVARP744B8). We serve North Idaho and Eastern Washington. Using our website or hiring us to do work means you agree to these terms.
What We Do and Don't Do
We install and replace residential asphalt shingle, metal, and Brava composite cedar shake roofs. We repair residential roofs and do inspections. We install gutters and skylights. On the commercial side we handle repairs only. We do not install full commercial systems like TPO or built-up roofing. If we can't do the job, we'll tell you up front.
We use qualified subcontractors on some jobs. We stand behind the work regardless of who swings the hammer. Any warranty on workmanship comes from ERP, not from the subcontractor.
Estimates and Proposals
Estimates are free. We'll inspect your roof, talk through options, and give you a written proposal with materials, scope, and price. Proposals are valid for 30 days unless we note otherwise. If material prices change significantly during that window, we'll let you know before you sign.
Signing a proposal means you agree to the scope of work and price listed. If you want something added or changed after signing, we'll write a change order. Change orders adjust the total and get signed the same way.
Payment Terms
For most residential jobs we ask for a 50% deposit to secure your spot on the schedule and order materials. The remaining 50% is due after the final inspection is complete and the work is signed off. We accept check, ACH, and card. Card payments carry a 3% processing fee that is passed on to the customer. Safe Harbor merchandise is the one exception: we eat the Stripe fee on those orders.
If payment is late we may charge interest at the maximum rate allowed under Idaho law. We do not hold work or materials hostage over small disputes. If something is wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.
Scope Promise
We make one promise on every job: the work matches the written scope. If we find something mid-project that wasn't in the scope, we stop, show you, and decide together how to handle it. No surprise charges. No "while we were up there" add-ons billed after the fact.
Workmanship Warranty
We offer a lifetime workmanship warranty on most residential roof replacements. The warranty covers installation defects that cause leaks or premature failure for as long as you own the home. It does not cover damage from storms, impact, foot traffic, ice dams on roofs we didn't design for them, or alterations by other contractors. The exact terms are in your signed proposal.
Manufacturer warranties on shingles, metal panels, Brava, gutters, and skylights come from the manufacturer. We pass those through to you and help with any claim. Length and coverage vary by product.
Insurance Work
If your project is covered by a homeowner's insurance claim, you are responsible for your deductible and any work outside what your carrier approves. We do not waive or absorb deductibles. We help you document damage, submit supplements, and communicate with adjusters. The contract is between you and ERP, not between ERP and your insurance company.
Merchandise Purchases
Apparel and merchandise ordered through our site (like the Safe Harbor hoodie) are fulfilled through our partner and charged by Stripe. Orders ship from the United States. If something arrives damaged or wrong, email info@elevatedroofingpartners.com within 14 days and we'll replace it or refund you. Returns for fit or personal preference are handled case by case. All proceeds go to Safe Harbor.
Cancellation
You can cancel a signed proposal within three business days for a full refund of any deposit (this matches Idaho's right-of-rescission rule for home-solicited sales). After three days, any deposit already used to order custom materials may not be refundable. We'll show you the material order and the supplier receipt if that comes up.
Limitation of Liability
ERP's total liability for any claim connected to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages such as lost rental income, hotel costs, or damage to personal property outside the work area unless caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms limits liability we cannot legally limit (for example, liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct).
Website Use
Our website, including calculators and tools, is for informational purposes. Numbers from our instant estimate are ballpark figures and not a binding quote. A signed proposal after an on-site inspection is the only binding price. We may update or take down pages without notice.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a problem with our work, talk to us first. Email info@elevatedroofingpartners.com or call (208) 551-1359. We'd rather fix it than argue about it.
If we can't resolve a dispute informally, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho. Any legal action must be filed in Kootenai County, Idaho. Both sides waive the right to a jury trial.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the business grows or as law requires. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision. Work already under a signed proposal is governed by the terms in effect on the day you signed.
